Internal Arts — Qigong & Hunyuan Taiji

Cultivate and circulate qi through the ancient Chinese internal arts.

Qigong and Hunyuan Taiji are among the most refined systems of internal energy cultivation ever developed. In private sessions, Victor shares these arts as living practice — slow, deliberate movement that builds and circulates qi throughout the body.

Hunyuan Taiji, in particular, unites the martial and the meditative: every movement is both a physical form and an act of internal cultivation. Practised consistently, it deepens coordination, balance and the felt sense of energy in motion.

FAQ

Common questions

What is Qigong?

Qigong is a Chinese practice combining posture, slow movement, breathing and focused intention to cultivate and circulate qi — the vital energy Traditional Chinese Medicine considers central to health. It’s gentle enough to suit any age or fitness level.

What are the benefits of Qigong?

Regularly practised, Qigong is associated with lower stress, better sleep, improved balance and coordination, and a stronger sense of vitality — benefits that build gradually with consistent practice rather than overnight.

Do I need Taiji or martial arts experience?

No prior experience is required — Hunyuan Taiji and Qigong are taught from first principles, at a pace suited to you.

Is this a martial arts class?

It draws from martial roots, but the focus here is internal cultivation — coordination, breath and the felt sense of qi, not combat application.

How does this relate to the Foundation programme?

Many students begin with the Foundation, then add Internal Arts once the body is prepared — though it’s also open as a starting point on its own.
